Spinach-cheese enpanada from the farmer's market which opened back up today *jumps and cheers* and a Horny Goat beer. Yeah. That's a local brewery here. I think they were drunk when they came up with that name. The beer's decent though.

Having a nice piece of low carb chocolate cake (dark chocolate, crushed hazelnuts, almond flour, butter and eggs) with whipped cream sweetened with stevia. And a pint of strawberry flavoured mineral water. I love my diet

I never realized it was such an "American" thing! Anyway, when I was a kid, I chewed gum now and then, but when I was learning to play the flute when I was 10, I had to give it up. I was professionally trained for 8 years and never had a single piece of gum in all that time. I've been making up for it ever since! ;D ;D ;D

I never knew, until afew months back, it was such an American thing either yea. ;D Same here, but I played the flute for only a couple of years, it wasn't really professional.

I don't know anyone who actually eats "ontbijtkoek" (breakfast-cake) for breakfast. I just made french toast, to add a bit of cinnamon to my day.

Ohhh, sounds delicious, never had it though, but "toast" and "cinnamon" are both things I love! Heheh, yes, I don't know anyone either that has ontbijtkoek for breakfast. ;D They better find a better name, a name that suits that cake! I just had lunch ;D Buttermilk, just brown bread and.. *is looking for English name* rye bread.

I made a smashing stir fry for dinner. Very colourful...would've taken a photo but I ate it all. Whoops. May I ask how "ontbijtkoek" is pronounced (assuming my Aussie ont-bidge-koe-eck isn't quite correct... ;D)?

Hehehe, I totally LOVE the way you'd pronounce ontbijtkoek, Pie! ;D Rye bread is roggebrood, Hops, in case if you hadn't looked up the translation yet. I'm having coffe - again. By the way, Pie, we could exchange food? As in: I send you the ontbijtkoek and maybe something else you've always wanted to try, and you send me something Aussie? ;D I've done it quite often in my life with loads of people on other forums.. It isn't cheap for sure, but it's fun!!

Hmm, I suspect that kangaroo meat wouldn't get through customs without a fight. ;D As I cannot think straight (and in fact, can't think at all) for reasons obvious elsewhere around the place, I'll have to get back to you on that one!

Kangaroo meat is lovely. I was a bit retiscent at first but, once I'd tried a little bit in a salad, I decided it was worth sacrificing the odd cute 'roo for.

No, no, that's bad, Mayfayre! You shouldnt think it's worth sacrifying an animal to satisfy your lusts. You wouldn't understand anyway how I feel I suppose, so I'd better be *is a veggie* .... satisfy your lusts..... I can't help thinking of James after re-reading those words ;D
