Mayfayre, I remember beautiful summer days in Cambridge, although the morning weather could deteriorate very fast into clouds, wind and rain!

At the moment, there's this strange shiny circular thing in the sky which is causing the buildings to cast shadows. Looks familiar.
Any ideas?

Scrub the above. Raining again.
That's better.

Now the shiny thing is back...this is ridiculous. Giving up.
Weather...changeable.

Still raining here and not supposed to clear until Sunday. That will be 2 straight weeks of rain. Blech.

Been very sunny and quite pleasant with no rain in sight. The Weather Channel says it might hit 100° by the end of next week. Time to hit the pool!

Can I please be jealous? Or use the Tardis to get to where you are? Yet again today in Lancashire UK it's wet. Windy. Grey. It's June, goddammit! Give us a break!!!
(Elton John is playing tonight on the promenade at Blackpool. Outdoor event. I don't imagine he's going to be best pleased...... Tantrums and Tiaras by the Tower, perhaps?)

It finally stopped raining and has been very nice here...sunny but not too hot. Usually we only have about 2 weeks of really hot weather (>mid-80's F) each summer.

It has rained constantly all day, and I've been to the garden centre for summer bedding plants - looks as though they'll be staying in their boxes for some time to come.

This past week in DC/Maryland has been gorgeous. No rain in sight. That being said, we won't be able to buy any rain in the summer and then suffer a horrible drought. Crops will burn up in the fields and there will be a water pipe ban. Seems you can't win, but having rain all the time is very depressing!

I hate to say this, but it's been a marvelous day here. Sunny, slight breeze, few bugs. Just lovely. ;D

I'm glad you're having some sun, ladies! The sun is always shining somewhere!

Today I had to go out and water my plants. What's more, I was allowed to use a hosepipe to do so.
Two causes for celebration!

Contrary to everything, the sun shone here today. Wasn't terribly warm but pleasant, and good enough for me to take Purdey the GT6 for an outing (we don't go out in inclement weather).

I'm sure Purdey would have enjoyed getting out into the sunshine! My hands are so cold that I cannot write properly. Fair indication of the weather here today...

It was a lovely day here today, not hot but pleasant, with lots of sunshine. That was until it poured down this evening.
Forecast for the next two days is lovely, but wet x 3 after that. Boo!

Sunny here!! Beuatiful clouds as well. Anyone else here that loves looking clouds? Yes, Nat. Which is lucky, considering how often we get to look at them! Nice day here. Better do something useful with my enforced leisure time, so a day's weeding is in prospect. I think there may be a Japanese sniper living in there who doesn't know the war is over.
