LOL Clementine, how funny. I remember somebody just like that who joined in May! She's still not having a crush! She's still not admitting to anything publicly! (How public is this?  ) She'd bought the books (and had them signed) and the DVDs. And she thought she was doomed .... so she joined here as a way to channel the bewilderment of not having a crush! And she's still here three months and very nearly 3000 posts later!  Hope you enjoy this place and make contact with as many great people as I have .... and I think, in the process, the non-crush will take care of itself!  |

I'm at the weaning myself off to an acceptable level. I turned the TV off tonight just as TG was about to start! ;D *pats self on back* And I was new to this sort of thing too. Never in my life have I done anything quite like this! I'm a reverse person! I was staid and sensible and retiring in my teens, 20s, 30s, 40s! I'm a rebellious middle-aged woman! |

You guys are so funny! I've also been sensible and hard-working, head turned by nothing at all, for most of my life. Who knew it would strike now! I'm so jealous, five times? I'll be lucky if I meet him once, I'm in Detroit; no one comes here except under extreme duress.

Yes as DD says, resistance is futile. When you find yourself turning off the Dave repeats to come on this site INSTEAD (as I now frequently do, and I am in fact a hugh fan of Mr Dave for consistantly playing my fave repeats) that is truly an alarming thing. I am going to stop now and go write some more James porn fan fiction. That's another side effect for many!

Well Clementine I do live in the London suburbs and he's done 3 booksignings since last November within 3/4 hour travelling time from where I live/work, so how could I resist?! The other two were book festivals where he gave a talk and then did signings, so I could justify the whole cultural day out! |

God, I feel like I'm having an affair, I have to keep sneaking in here so my husband doesn't know what I'm doing. We do, indeed, have car-related goodness here, but things are quite tough right at the moment because the American automakers are having a hard time keeping their heads above water, and a lot of people have lost their jobs. My husband works for one of the automakers but he'll probably be the last one out and have to lock the door. Anyway, back on topic! James porn? Really?
