"...I am good at navigation..." That's not what I've heard! Since when ;D......so if we hear that they need rescuing in the South Pacific .....we know why ;D

I wonder who thought of the boat's name. "Two Scoops". Wonder who likes Ice cream?

Oban Marina has been chosen as a hosting venue for the 2008 Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race - a race which runs over ten days around the coast of Britain and is the longest and toughest event for powerboat drivers in the world. The first boats are due to arrive at 1400 on 24th June. Visitors will be able to enjoy all the glitz and glamour that surround this race, which attract competitors from around the globe. The spectacle includes the largest boat in the race, the Austrian 48 footer Wettpunkt.com , taking part in the Super Class RB1. Watch out for a few familiar faces from the world of TV as The Two Scoops Racing Team comprises BBC Top Gear presenter James May and Nick Knowles from DIY as well as the James Bond stunt girl, Sarah Donohue! read the rest here www.bymnews.com/news/newsDetails.php?id=24702

Also means no Glastonbury for James this year (27, 28, 29 June)... Richard will have his pop-up tent to himself this year! Does James usually attend the Glastonbury festival? I didn't know he was a rock music fan [fingers crossed I hope he is]. He has said he listens to Bach mostly, and occasionally Oscar Peterson.

He has some surprising musical tastes - I read one of those "tell us something people wouldn't expect about you" type things somewhere where he said he occasionally enjoys ambient music and has a CD by Orbital. And apparently he listens to AC/DC, but only in the car!

Dear lord, he wears the blue flowery shirt in his off-time as well! Look at the tension in his left hand, wonder what that was about.
It's lovely he likes at least some rock music though.

They seemed ok in Essex on Monday. I expect egos more than anything were bruised, and an awful lot of shouting and swearing
