I don't think the NC likes me, I'm geeting the same message as yesterday, no such page exists.

OK it's me again, sorry. I'm on a new laptop now so there shouldn't be any problems, but since I've switched on tonight all the type/font is really tiny. It's not affecting other sites and I've tried going through control panel but the next level up makes it too big. Also, the lines dividing threads/posts keep coming and going.
Suggestions? (Other than 'go on a computer course'!)

For the font trouble, look at the menu toolbar in your browser, hit the "View" dropdown menu, and then zoom in. That should make the font bigger. (I also have a new laptop and I think Win7 has some buggy thing that keeps changing the font size, so I have to keep using this trick. I never had this trouble on WinXP and for some reason it only affects certain websites.)

Hey FL, that looks as if it may have sorted the problem. When I went to zoom it was set at 90% and as soon as I put it to 100% everything went back to normal.
Don't know how I managed to reset that to 90%. I'll just have to see if it sticks there now!
Thanks.

Lots of angry blue bears tearing up the servers tonight. Am I the only one getting error messages with every second page I open?

Has anyone else lately had problems with the JMB being extremely slow? Also, I have had trouble scrolling up and down through the posts. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sometimes, but when I refresh all is well.

A lot of times, whenever I attempt to type something, it stops, freezes my browser, occasionally crashes it, but then it starts up again. Just to freeze up and repeat after I've typed two words. Really annoying. It's been doing it for days and is one reason I've not been here so often recently(there are others too). To be fair, FB's done the same thing at times but I think FB almost prides itself on how glitchy it is.

I couldn't log in on my phone a couple of days ago, but no problems now. We need to keep a permanent vat of porridge here for Papa Bear. ;D

I downloaded an update for the Proboards iPhone app yesterday and it's taking a little while to get used to. The smileys have changed too...they're nowhere near as good as they used to be, some only appear some of the time, or they don't work properly, e.g. the rolling eyes one appears as : then rather than putting both semi-colons together. Not that it's the end of the world or anything. I just feel like having a whinge.

Is anyone else having difficulty getting on here because of a proboard problem? It's been happening for a couple of days now - the screen freezes and when it comes back it says proboard is not responding. No angry blue bears but it asks me to close programme.
Also, I tend to copy things I write on here in case I do hit a problem so I can paste later, and while this particular proboard problem's in evidence it won't hold the copy, it's just not there when I get the site back. Anyone else getting anything similar?
Dontcha just love computers?

No problem for me, even from my stoneage work computer. Maybe a corrupt link?
Sorry - alone in the office and bored, so answering everything today.

A few days ago I had a problem with the pages not responding but that was it. It seems to have cleared up. Sorry I can't offer any more help than that.

Here we go again - the exact same problem. I click on 'Find solution and close program' and it comes back. Is anyone else getting this?

Thanks for checking, lew. It's got better yesterday and today so far, so I'm hoping it's solved its own problem. Weird that it's happened before, though.
Perhaps my lap-top was having a blonde/senior/PMT (delete as applicable) moment!

OK, I've got a new one. Everone will be really glad to hear that, I'm sure.
Is anyone else getting this? Each time I go to a new page on the JMB (and only on here) I'm getting a message at the bottom
Do you wish to open or save jload.js from pixel.adsafeprotected.com?
with the usual Open/Save/Cancel options.
I would ignore it but it's really intrusive having to get rid of it every time I go to a new page, and I don't want to open it to find out what it is in case it's a virus. Anyone else being aggravated by this or is it just me (again)?

I'm not seeing that, either on a Mac or a PC. I'd be very wary of it. Sorry I can't be of more help.
