The film was posted on the 30th, so it's quite possible that it was filmed on the 29th. And there is a cameracar in front of him, James is "at work". Is the M25 a logic road to be on if you are travelling from Dover to Blackpool? (Remember the article in the Blackpool Gazatte mentioned a race from Switzerland.) |

Yes, it is. Looks like they are trying to do it on one tank of petrol /diesel too  Is impressed if Hammond managed to do that in a VW Polo Edit: Now I'm wondering if they were testing the Blue Motion Polo which apparently can do 700 miles on one tank? I can only get 400 miles out of mine even if I don't thrash it. |

I thought it sounded like a race to blackpool, to switch the lights on, and that's why they announced that james had lost, cos he wasn't there on time.

Eh? whats been going on a little confused here Rozzers?! Me and sis and bro-in-law and friend (average age 50 ) were relieved of our beer cos we were drinking on the street The plastic police obviously thought we were going to cause bother. I certainly considered it when they pinched our beer |

Me & DD had a good couple of days in Blackpool. It was nice to see the sea & get some fresh air. our hotel couldnt find our booking so we were dead lucky when we found vacancies at another place. we thought we would treat ourselves to a meal at the imperial hotel so we had chicken tikka & naan breads it was lovely & a nice chocolate orange tart with a pot of tea after. Thank You DD for that treat it was very kind of you. I enjoyed the build up to the lights some of the singers were good & some I found boring. I took parts of video film throughout. I thouroughly enjoyed Boyzone the most out of the bands but then I have always liked them.
as for the switch on I was concerned about the wearabouts of James so probably affected my filming & my camera was having trouble focusing because I was using zoom & it was dark which I dont thinkthe camera was suited to. So not sure if it will be that good. I was happy to see Jezza, Richie & even the stig. Aftrwards we took a walk & looked at all the lovely lights. I am just pleased That James is ok & that is all that matters.
It was nice meeting with you Liz. Starfish x
