Yeah, but if you believe the media rumours, he's in talks with Citroen's rally team, and has also already *signed* for MercedesGP!

Relieved to hear that the BGP's been saved... I can finally cancel my hotel near Donington ;D And a 17 year deal for Silverstone... at least that means they shouldn't have to negotiate with Ecclestone next time!

I was pleased to hear that too Liz. I wonder who will replace the poison dwarf Mr Ecclestone?

Hmmm... I hadn't given it much thought, I reckon Damon Hill would do a good job, fresh blood, and a lot more forward-thinking... in fact, anybody would do a better job than that cantankerous old ****

Yes I too was pleased, knowing that Donnington would never be ready on time or been able to raise the funds I was worried that there wouldn't be a British GP, which considering so many teams and drivers are British, would have been very sad. I fail to understand just HOW Mr E has been allowed to get such a strangle hold on F1.

Excellent news. Ecclestone will probably live another 17 years out of spite. ;D

I'm looking forward to it immensely! ;D Wish I was going.... it's only 20 minutes away from me but didn't get our act together enough to sort it.... .... there is always Abu Dhabi ;D which is only an hour from me.... *makes mental note: must badger MOH into sorting tickets out*

I think poor old Schumy shouldn't have come back really. He is being out driven by all the young bucks now. He is driving like a desperate man with no chance of winning.

I think you have hit the nail on the head ly. The young guns are out-gunning him at every opportunity. My dad is/was one of his biggest fans and he said the same. Should never have come back

I think he is still as good as ever, but the car he has under him isn't as good as the ones he used to have! There is never going to be the situation where he gives up a racing line - if you want to be past, overtake!
He is a team managers dream during interview sessions too - always says exactly the right thing!

I agree with you up to a point but.....he does seem to get away with things that other people would get their ar*es kicked for. He hasn't got a good car but, there again, neither had Lewis last season and he still racked up a fair few points (what would he have achieved with a decent motor ) but that is comng from a Lewis fan so I am a teensie bit biased However, this season is shaping up to be a cracker. I will be glued to the tele for the rest of the races

Lewis and Jenson take a leaf from TG's book. This actually made me properly laugh.
