It will be fine. The good thing about quiche is that you can put almost anything in it. Throw in some mushrooms, or tomatoes, or broccoli, or asparagus, or whatever is handy. Enjoy with a lovely white wine.

Oh, you've just inspired me. Tomatoes it is! Maybe not in but on top.
Edit: Or on the bottom. Umm, my family may not appreciate the creativity.

Chop or slice them, and seed and drain them, so you're not adding a lot of water. (I love quiche.)

Is that to dull the senses before I serve this? Oops. It got a bit too brown but it tastes pretty good.

Those look delicious, AM!! ;D ;D They aren't too pretty but very tasty. The girl even said they looked like dog poo with powdered sugar on top. She's such a delicate flower with her words.

What exactly are they? I have never heard of them... I have to find something to make with this today They are a Spanish dessert I believe. They're made from a batter that is similar to pancakes or donuts and then deep fried. I guess kinda like funnel cake. What on earth have you bought? Cock flavored, eh? Many questions running through my head.

I made a pot of nice rooibos tea from a Japanese company called Lupicia. The flavor is called LA VIE EN ROSE, and it's very tasty, caffeine and tannin free. I lived in Japan for a while and got to like their teas. But I prefer the French tea called Mariage Frères; it's the best I've ever tasted!

I'm not eating, but I'm experimenting with unusual cake ingredients today. For a *ahem* certain birthday party I'm going to on Saturday *pokes a certain JMB'er* Expect some 'guess the flavour' cupcakes ;D

Just had a lovely piece of oven roasted Copper River salmon from Alaska. So tasty and juicy, and very easy to do!

Don't often post on this thread, but this evening I made myself one of my all-time favourite meals:
Fry lots of mushrooms and some onion. When it all begins to brown and caramelise, push to one side, add a steak and cook till done to your preference. Push steak to one side, reheat mushroom/onion, add slices/chunks of blue cheese and splashes of Lee & Perrins Worcesteshire sauce. Just as the cheese melts, fold it quickly into the veg and serve with the steak. Delish!
