I recorded it so I started to watching it but I think my television doesn't like James because it's the second time that it had a failure during his programme. So I haven't seen a thing. But I'm gonna look to rent it.

Is this up for anything or do we have James's PR here  god and to think I've been doing this banging on thing since 07....I'm not bad at PR ;D Not sure what's going on either, Lew. Think we may have the production company's press officers on here! It seems we have ?three new members whose posts are mainly directed at promoting James and TYNTK. Preaching to the choir here. |

Well, I'm still enjoying it. I like the graphics very much - my sort of humour - though I can understand that the style wouldn't suit everyone's taste.
I can also understand the huge divergence of viewer opinions about the programme. Some seem to feel their intelligence is being insulted; others have learned a great deal that they didn't know beforehand. I'm enjoying sitting on the fence as I fall into both camps within the same episode.
Has anyone found any information as to who writes the scripts? I thought with the first series that James was probably just brought in to narrate because of his previous documentary successes, but this series seems as if he's much more involved.

He's certainly become a lot more interactive this series - but I think that's due to the experimentation of animation. The greenscreen work on this series is fantastic! So much work has gone into each and every little detail and it shows. Even if you're not a fan of science or knowledge, you'd surely be a fan of how they make it! I personally know most of the stuff being told to us - especially last night about the brain. But this isn't aimed at people like us it's aimed at kids (Said the twitter of JMsTYNTK) If I were, say, 13/14 about to go and start work towards my GCSE's - I'd definitely find this interesting. And to be fair, now, if I wasn't a James May fan - I'd probably still watch it anyway as a refresher.  Although, I have to say - I didn't know that was why beer made you vomit. so I did learn a few things. |

I watched the 3rd episode yesterday and thought it was very good. I love the cartoon aspect to the show. Oddly enough I'm not science oriented but Anthropology being my minor I especially like his rendition of Darwin. From all the talk or postings I thought there was going to be natural childbirth on the show.
