I didn't see the show, but the illustrations in that article are pretty basic chemistry. They should have gotten a competent person to proofread it. Meim probably could have been hired as a consultant.

BRB, cracking up so very much over here. *now comes the head-desking* Oh my lord. I taught stuff more advanced than this and I taught fricking freshman college chemistry! EPIC *bleep*ing fail. I would seriously expect my friend I'm currently tutoring in chemistry to catch those mistakes. I didn't watch it. I really didn't like the first series and had no intention of ever watching this series. Now I'm tempted to, just to take notes about everything that's wrong. Mostly too busy to seriously entertain that thought though, if I'm being honest.

I know there's been a bit of stick for TYNTK, and now this has arrived on Redbubble. Made me smile, though.

Looks as if there might be a new series in the offing! 360 Production, who does the green-screen stuff for the programme, has posted these two pics this morning and has tweeted a message referring to an 'exciting announcement coming soon".

Update, and possibly an exclusive - a new tweet site (correct wording?) has appeared: @theheadsqueeze
It's just put up its first, and so far only tweet, which runs as follows
LIke James May? Science Experiments? Tech news? Current Affairs? Badgers? Head Squeeze YouTube Channel launches in Jan 2013! Exciting!
It then retweeted the James May's TYNTK tweet from a couple of days ago
Exciting announcement coming soon!!!! Stay tuned!
So it looks as if it's going to be Head Squeeze.
Further Edit: I'm starting a new thread for this, as I'm guessing there will be plenty to say about it in the future!

James May's Things You Need to Know SERIES 1 - 1. THE HUMAN BODY
Monday 15 December 5:30am - 6am Eden (Repeat) Monday 15 Dec 6:30am Eden +1 Tuesday 16 December 4:40am EdenReview by:David Butcher Most popular science programmes deliver a modest payload of information via a string of artfully assembled scenes. The emphasis is on filling the screen time with cool images, striking locations and touching human stories, but you could deliver the knowledge they impart in a fraction of the time. And here, in this brisk new series, they do. It’s half an hour of rapid-fire education, a kind of executive summary of what you need to know on a subject, boiled down and delivered by James May. Instead of Texan deserts or time-lapse cityscapes, the visuals are playfully retro animations that work well. In this opener May asks big questions about our bodies, such as: how did I get my granny’s chin, why do I catch colds, and what will we look like 1,000 years from now? ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME1/3. The Top Gear presenter contemplates the human body, using motion graphics in his search for answers as to why individuals inherit certain family characteristics, the reasons for catching colds and having hangovers, and what people will look like in 1,000 years. www.radiotimes.com/episode/cvs5b/james-mays-things-you-need-to-know--series-1---1-the-human-body James May's Things You Need to Know SERIES 1 - 2. THE UNIVERSETuesday 16 December at 5:05am - 5:30am on Eden (Repeat) and Tuesday 16 December at 6:05am Eden +1ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME2/3. The Top Gear presenter embarks on a typically light-hearted journey of discovery across the universe, in an attempt to answer some of the questions that have often puzzled him about the cosmos, such as where it all began, how stars work and what Madonna is doing in space. With the help of hi-tech graphics and a bit of science, James gets to the bottom of everything from white dwarfs to black holes, helping viewers understand their place within the grand scheme of things. www.radiotimes.com/episode/cw5p4/james-mays-things-you-need-to-know--series-1---2-the-universe
